How can you be invovled in Worship?
Music ministry is an important aspect of worship. Our desire is to sing songs both old and new as we worship God together. If you play an instrument or sing and would like to lead in this way let us know!
Prayer is another important part of how we worship together. If you have a gift for prayer, poetry, just love words, and would like to help lead our prayers on Wednesday mornings or Thursday evenings, let us know!
It is important to keep worship accessible for everyone. This means providing gluten and dairy free bread for our Eucharistic Celebrations. If you're an excellent baker - or someone who wants to try please consider baking our communion bread!
The Bread Guild is also in charge of making sure that the Chaplain's Cookie Jar is always full of delicious treats for students when they stop by.
Proclaiming God's Word
Proclaiming God's word is what all of this is all about! If you would like to read scripture aloud lend us your voice! There are opportunites on Wednesday mornings at 10 and Thursday evenings at 5pm
We don't want the the Anglican Student Ministry to be Edmonton's best kept secret. We encourage you to spread the news. Invite people! Tweet it! Gram it! Snap it! AND share it!
Whether we are meeting at St. Aidan's Chapel at St. George's Anglican Church on Thursday nights or in HUB 176 on Wednesday Mornings our worship space needs to be set up and taken down! This is a wonderful low-investment way to contribute to the community!
